VMA's 2009!!

Madonna's heartfelt piece about Michael Jackson was perhaps the most touching part of the entire night! She talked about her encounters with Michael - how we all abandoned him at his time of need! She repeatedly said how "he is a king"! Wonderfully spoken Madonna!


Janet Jackson definitely did a great job - in tribute to her brother. I absolutely LOVED the video for SCREAM! Her performance was crazy good!


EVERYONE and their moms were SHOCKED by this. It was probably the most talked about part of the show. Kanye West interupting Taylor Swift's acceptence speach to let everyone know that Beyonce had the best video of all time - implying that she didnt deserve the award! Mind u it was a live casting! The producers didnt even know how to handle it - so they began to cue the music and rushed along with the rest of the show.
Beyonce was even looking at him like "WTF IS HE DOING?" - very embarrasing!

We've all come to know Kanye as an outspoken person (which is a wonderful trait) however I did not expect him to be so inconsiderate and rude. That was the ultimate bully movement! We all know Beyonce for being a great artist & performer - let someone else win for a change. The poor girl was already shocked as it was for winning the award - u could tell she didnt expect it at all. That was just a straight punk move on kanye's part. There was no need to be as disrespectful and embarrass her the way he did - I'm sure he wasnt expecting everyone to react so negatively - Sorry YAY ..smh ... u on ur own on this one -whatever in the end he embarrassed his damn self!!

In all honesty if i dont see/hear and apology coming from him - i'm boycotting Kanye!

Beyonce definitely did the right thing with this kind gesture. After winning an award herself she gave Taylor Swift the opportunity to give her acceptance speach - since her chance was ROBBED from her! It definitely was a public announcement that she did not support what Kanye did! Good job B!

Bill Maher's attack on OBAMA?!?!?!

Last night (Friday, September 11, 2009) on Real Time with Bill Maher was definitely an interesting episode. Not sure how many of you are fans of the show (I for one definitely am) but I was left unsettled after watching it last night.

“The Democrats just never learn. Americans don’t really care which side of an issue you’re on as long as you don’t act like pussies,” Maher said.

He continued to take stabs at the Obama administration by insinuating that they were "p*%$ies"...hmmm...says the man who was p*%$y whipped by Super Head?!?!?
