TREY SONGZ - Now I love Trey Songz as much as the next young woman but to be completely honest I wasn't the biggest fan of this song which probably leaves me a bit disappointed in this video. It's pretty bazaar to say the least..and that's BEFORE Nicki Minaj gets into it.

Once Nicki Minaj gets in the video it's an epic fail. I'm sure this is great drunk music when you're out and about and can barely say your name, never mind coherent. All in all...this is one Trey Songz track that I'll pass on (never thought I'd say that).

Oh and need I forget to mention the product placement was NOT even done in a slick manner.....*looks around* as if I have the urge to now buy Conjure...let's be real now.

Enough with my bantering check it out for yourselves.

I've been contemplating starting a blog about all of my crazy wacky dating experiences for quite some time. This weekend, after an especially strange date, I decided it was time for me to share my experiences with the rest of the world. So, here I go!

About a year and a half ago I broke up with my boyfriend of many years. Here’s the story:

I was home for Winter break one year when my girls and I decided to go out to a club that catered to the 18 and up crowd. We were having a good time dancing and laughing at all the crazy pick-up lines when one of my friends had to run to the bathroom. I followed her -- being the overly motherly and concerned person that I am.

On my way there, a tall Habesha guy with ratty jeb-jeb braids, a big smile and large droopy-drunk looking eyes grabbed my arm. I can’t remember how the initial conversation went…but a few days later I was sitting across from him in a cozy corner of a run-down Ethiopian-restaurant dreamy eyed and already picking out our babies' names. . . LOL.

As the weeks went on, we became inseparable. I was falling intensely in love with a handsome, tall, educated, driven Habesha man who had endured much hardship and suffering in his life. He yearned to be loved and supported and I deeply yearned to limitlessly give this to him. He fulfilled my need to give.

Fast forward many years, I was a college graduate getting settled into my new career and growing tired of giving so much and receiving so little in the relationship I was in. After a lot of tension and huge blowout fights, I ended the relationship. Within a few days I packed my bags, rented a fabulous condo and started my new life as a SINGLE girl. And so began my journey navigating the fascinating world of dating. . .

One of Toronto's best kept secrets is really starting to get leaked! Teddy F House has been MIA working away on his latest up coming projects. With his new single On My Way out making serious noise you can't help but to listen.

After taking in this track I definitely see this being a summer time favorite! The production on this is AMAZING! The video is on point and of course Teddy himself does NOT disappoint!

Listening to it the second time around I came to the conclusion that this is going to be my anthem for the remainder of the summer, perhaps well into fall.

Enough is enough.....For More Teddy F House DOWNLOAD his mixtape at WWW.TEDDYFHOUSE.COM

WASHINGTON DC - All those who Follow The L knows that we were in DC this past weekend for the Annual Eritrean Festival. We were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to throw a very chic day time event that brought everyone together in good spirits.

[FANCY] was hands down THE best way to spend the Sunday. What other event is there during the day  provides such a scenic vibe, a crowd made up of beautiful mature like-minded individuals, more than enough catered food & full bar.

Thanks to EVERYONE who attended and made it a point to get there on time. Hope to see you next year!!!!
