December 2008: At 16 years of age Taj Melendez put a new spin on accessory making. Using a beading technique, he has created broaches, bow-ties and barrettes. Now at 18 years old (!) [ART] Living Painting: Reverse Trompe L'Oeil - Alexa Meade

I was introduced to Alexa Meade's Reverse Trompe L'Oeil art a while ago and it stuck with me, so I decided to share!

For those who aren't familiar, the trompe l'oeil technique is one used to make two-dimensional imagery appear to be more realistic, giving off the impression that it is a 3D image.Trompe l'oeil is a French term, meaning "deceiving or fooling the eye". Follow The L was fortunate enough to host his first video release party in London, Ontario. Well known for his London Town  track and video which hit 37, 800 views on youtube Richie Blackz has come come out with yet another one.
