Exciting fans worldwide, Lucasfilm and Adidas announced last summer that a collaboration between the two companies was in the works for a Spring/Summer 2010 collection. Infusing iconic Star Wars imagery and classic Adidas signature looks, deisgners have since created the Adidas Originals Star Wars Edition for a range of apparel and footwear items. The limited edition line, released yesterday, can be previewed by visiting the Adidas website or by heading into select Adidas Originals stores. Added as lil a bit of extra goodness, check out the accompanying commerical (featuring cameos by David Beckham, Snoop Dogg, and Daft Punk) below:

V Magazine's highly anticipated "Size Issue", with alternate covers featuring Gabourey Sidibe and Dakota Fanning, hits newsstands today.

Although each cover girl has buzzworthy status in their own repsective rights, it is for another reason this unique issue has produced a heightened amount of chatter. Shot by top fashion photographers (Terry Richardson, Terry Tsiolis, and Sølve Sundsbø to name a few), a variety of models - short, tall, skinny, plus sized, etc.- are showcased in interesting and riveting pictorial spreads. Below are snippets of the sneak peek, previously released by models.com.

It's most interesting, or even ironic, to note that the "Coco a Go-Go" editorial was shot by world renowned fashion designer, Karl Lagerfeld. Interesting due to the content and its relevance to Lagerfeld's recent eyebrow raising, "No one wants to see curvy women", comment. Fast forward to today and behold his reversal of opinion.

As sad as it is to say Teddy Pendergrass passed away yesterday in a Philadelphia hospital, January 13 2010, after failing to recover from his battle with colon cancer, which he was treated for 8 months ago.

RIP Teddy Pendergrass! Our heart goes out to you and your family!

The fluidity Rihanna's fashion style possesses, is ever more present in her latest photoshoot. Donning a white Gucci dress (Spring 2010 RTW ), Rihanna breaks away from her most recent "hard" look and brightens up as she graces the cover of W magazine's February edition.

Whether or not your a fan of Rih-Rih's style, it would be hard to deny that the songstress shines, not only in the cover, but also in the rest of the magazine spread. In the editor's extra interview, stylist Lori Goldstein explains her inspiration for the looks pulled:

"The inspiration really kind of evolved. We were first thinking we'd do this kind of boudoir-ish look with pastels. Then when we met her, you could just see this cool factor that's totally her. She's not trying. So for instance, she loved that gorgeous snakeskin Dior trench—it was kind of this sweet and tough thing that we were playing with. That's her. She does have those two sides to her. "worse than a war zone"

"Haitians are still digging out of the rubble after a major earthquake devastated the Caribbean nation's capital, Port-au-Prince. Survivors and witnesses are giving their accounts of the tragedy"
A 7.0-magnitude earthquake is the last thing Haiti needs right now. They're in need of aid and thankfully it seems as though people have been stepping up and assisting. The earthquake, centered off Port-au-Prince, destroyed a hospital in Petionville and damaged other buildings. The number of injured has not been released as of yet...but lets get active now to try to help!

Unfortunate to say but it needs to be brought to attention....there will be people trying to use this tragity for personal benefit. Please be sure that you contribute to a legitimate and recognized organization!
