Extraordinary talent and creative genius, Alexander McQueen, has died at the age of 40.

The British designer was found dead at his home on Thursday morning and early reports suggest the death is being treated by police as non-suspicious. In a statement released by the Alexander McQueen label, Lee Alexander McQueen's (designer's full name) family has spoken out about the unexpected and tragic news (via Daily Mail):

"At this stage it is inappropriate to comment on this tragic news beyond saying that we are devastated and are sharing a sense of shock and grief with Lee's family.
Lee's family has asked for privacy in order to come to terms with this terrible news and we hope the media will respect this."

The fashion world today, has lost an iconic and innovative artist. R.I.P.

He says he feels bad ya'll....I'm not buying it! It just seems like he's giving a fake me out Chris Brown apology! Sorry John C. Mayer it's sort of hard to believe that you geniunely feel bad about the situation. If you honestly did believe any of the rubbish you were spitting, you wouldn't have said it!

John C. Mayer is definitely not sorry about what he said. He's realizing the negative reactions that EVERYONE not only African Americans/Canadians are having. He's sorry that we're all taking it badly - Not so much of what he said. He obviously believes it! SMH!

Rihanna's *NEW* Rude Boy video is FINALLY OUT! For those who chronically Follow The L...u know I've been obsessed with this song for some time now.

The video is extremely colourful to say the least. It seemed like she had fun with it. It kind of reminds me of Beyonce's Video Phone video *shrugs* just my observation.

None the less, it's a HOT song and the video definitely has me anticipating the summer! You can all definitely fiind me in shorts in every city I'm in!

For those who have checked out my ladies over at 2 Bitchez Deep....anything look familiar in this picture and video?

Yuuuupppp *in Trey Songz voice* Rihanna is wearing a 2 Bitchez Deep piece. She has on their Metal Bow 4 Finger Glove! These women have done such an amazing job and its evident they've hard work is paying off! Congrats LADIES!!

I'm predicting a GREAT long lasting relationship between 2 Bitchez Deep items and Rihanna!

None the less...check out the video below. I love it...Hmmm who knows... I may just have to put that song back on on here on auto-play!

Sorry to break my ethinic womens hearts but apparently John Mayer feels that he has a racist dick. Yeaa...I said it!

In an interview with Playboy (I don't read it, someone brought it to my attention) is an extremely interesting and in depth sneak peak of how John really feels about Black Women. When asked if black women throw themselves at him, he responds saying:

"I don’t think I open myself to it. My dick is sort of like a white supremacist. I’ve got a Benetton heart and a fuckin’ David Duke cock."

Shocked, appauled, speechless, angry, disappointed, hurt are just a few ways I was feeling when reading this. He's in of Brittney Spears' publicist, like RIGHT NOW! This is one mess that his non-discretion ass cannot get himself out of alone.

He quickly recovers by saying he wants to begin to dating seperately from his dick and listed a few African American women he would get down with:

"Every white dude loved Hilary from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. And Kerry Washington. She’s superhot, and she’s also white-girl crazy. Kerry Washington would break your heart like a white girl."

Yea real nice save buddy...SMH...this is just terrible! I'm not too sure about you, but this guy is officially done and over with. Enjoy reading the end of the last John Mayer post on Follow The L!

In between promoting his film directorial debut, A Single Man, and running his eponymously named fashion house, Tom Ford is back at it with the release of his Spring 2010 Eyewear collection. Photographed by the man himself, Ford enlists the help of model Caroyln Murphy and actor Nicholas Hoult (Skins, A Single Man) for the sleek and sexy campaign. Staying in tune with the 1960's theme in Ford's recent film, Hoult and Murphy flawlessly play it retro for the camera (see more pics below).

LADIES LADIES LADIES! Based from my Man Tips you know I personally know how difficult it can be to find a date let alone a significant other in Toronto yet we're surrounded with GREAT guys that just seem to fall into the "friends" category.

Pray no longer Thierry Lifestyles has come to the rescue

    Thierry Lifestyles says...

"Based on a very unique concept, the 'Bring Me A Date' event is for single women to bring a male date, not for them but for other single women at the mixer event. Every woman knows a really good man that they would recommend and introduce to their girl friends. Yet surprisingly a good number of women complain about how they can never find a really great guy."

Personally I think this is a genius idea that single women in the city definitely need to take advantage of! With Valentines day right around the corners and a large number of beautiful women spending it alone or with their other single girlfriend, this would be a great idea to get you out of your single blues.

Bring Me A Date will be held on February 21, 2010 from 6pm to 9pm at the exclusive Mood Lounge in Yorkville.

Tickets for the event are $50 per ticket, purchased in pairs, and include gourmet hors d'oeuvres, complimentary cocktails and other giveaways!!

Click on Bring Me A Date to purchase your tickets online (Paypal accounts also accepted)...keep in mind ticket purchases must be made before Feb. 14th!!

It was brought to my attention that a few people had come together with this song and it was something I needed to share with you all!

Bleeding Rain was inspired by the earthquake in Haiti that occured on Tuesday, 12 January 2010 killing over 200,000 civilians and an estimated three million people were affected.

ALL PROCEEDS from this song will be sent to YELE to assist the people of Haiti.

Be sure to Download the song to help Haiti!

Trina and Diddy on the set of Trina's latest song Million Dollar Girl. It was just shot this weekend and the video should be coming out real soon.

By the looks of Trina's twitter statuses. She's more than ready for everyone to see it.

Below is a sneak peak of behind the scenes on set. Looks like it was one expensive video...I just hope it lives up to her hype!

Kandi Burruss has finally come out with her song titled Independent. I get it, she wants a song that reflects her which is great, however I'm not too sure about this one.

She teamed up with Candi Redd and Rasheeda for this track...again..dunno how I feel about it.

A video has already been put out for the song. I really haven't heard this song out yet but if she wants to put out a video already, by all means.

Do not get me wrong, the girl can sing without a doubt. But this video with the song just seems a bit wrong. My girls from 2 bitchez deep definitely needed to come in there and assist with the wardrobe for one!

Check out the video below and drop your thoughts on it...Follow The L for more on Kandi!

It seems as thought Kim Kardashian just maybe not only Reggie Bush's but the Saints good luck charm. Lord only knows how they celebrated...SMH!!!

Hmmm the underdogs finally take Super Bowl 2010! Congrats to the Saints for their win and Colts, you put up one hell of a fight. This is something that the city of New Orleans definitely needed to lift their spirits especially since Hurricane Katrina hit.

The half time show was nothing extravagent or anything really worth talking about unfortunately. I suppose we can all thank Justin and Janet for messing that up for all of us.

None the less...I'm happy for the Saints and the city or New Orleans for taking this one. Well deserved!
