TORONTO - More Music is coming out of Toronto, who's to say it's all great? Every city has their own Gucci Mane, not everyone can be a Jay-Z. Not to say this new artist Strizzy Kastro is the equivalent of Gucci Mane. I feel indifferent about this new track GO HARD.
Produced by Toronto's very own JStaffz the beat alone is something that everyone can definitley vibe to especially for the summer time. The featured artists (Belly, Reps Up P.Reign & Jay-NY) were definitely in the songs best interest, and the hook was a two thumbs up.

However, with that said the song itself wasn't something that caught my attention. Strizzy Kastro has been recognized across Canada gracing the cover of the Toronto Observer and Hip Hop Canada but this song just didnt do it for me.
The song is a sing along, but it seems like something that would get tiring quickly. It's reminds me of the type of hip hop that New York City was putting out early 2000's. It's great to reminisce but something new and refreshing is in order. GO HARD seems like it's something that's been heard before. There are only so many songs that people can listen to that strictly talk about how "hard" they "go" for their money, cars & cribs.
Despite the mixed emotions about GO HARD, we look forward to getting more stuff from Strizzy Kastro!
