As Canadians gear up for the release for the new toy from Apple on Friday March 25th, lets take a look and see if this is worth the price. First off the bat you'll notice that they changed the whole look itself. Because its 33% thinner and 15% lighter, it really does feel lighter and more comfortable in your hand than the original (even thinner than the iPhone 4). Another big feature they finally added are the two front and back cameras which will allow you to do FaceTime chat with their other products, but for some reason they didn't add flash. It also has a new faster processor, dual core A5 chip, and I think you'll notice the difference when your going through the apps back and forth. The smart cover is something that Apple designed while they were making iPad 2. It clicks really easily and holds strong while keeping the screen safe but it doesn't really protect the product all together at the $39 and $69 price tag.
Lets face it, Apple did change the way we listen to music, make phone calls and they redefined tablets, but this isn't something that you will want to substitute for your laptop just yet. Tablets are still something that consumers have to get used to, especially everyday people. The competition is also going to get tougher with BlackBerry releasing their much anticipated Flash enabled tablet, the PlayBook next month. You can purchase the iPad 2 at all retailers who carry Apple products and online on Friday.
