WASHINGTON D.C. native WALE just came out with a video for his more recent song The Break Up Song which is something most of us can relate to. I've got to say WALE definitely did it for me on this song. I'd have to say hands down one of my fave WALE tracks.

WASHINGTON DC - All those who Follow The L knows that we were in DC this past weekend for the Annual Eritrean Festival. We were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to throw a very chic day time event that brought everyone together in good spirits.

[FANCY] was hands down THE best way to spend the Sunday. What other event is there during the day  provides such a scenic vibe, a crowd made up of beautiful mature like-minded individuals, more than enough catered food & full bar.

Thanks to EVERYONE who attended and made it a point to get there on time. Hope to see you next year!!!!

[GOODIES] V.Rich The True Bachelor

V.RICH - If you haven't heard about this guy yet I'm letting you know now that he's the truth. Aside from being a good friend of mine he's vocals and ability to compose some of the best R&B music I've heard is simply MAGIC!

Originally from DC he's been traveling everywhere doing shows and I personally can't wait to bring him up to Toronto myself! The opportunity to work with V.Rich is definitely something that I look forward to!

I first fell in love with V.Rich's work when I heard his myspace tune Precious Love(still one of my all time favorite songs EVER IN LIFE) and I quickly realized that V.Rich was the real deal when we spent some time with him in DC, he began singing from the other room and we (everyone else in the room I was in) thought he had put in a CD.

He's THAT GOOD ... and now with the release of his latest song Bachelor I can't see anyone NOT falling in love with his genius.

[GOODIES] Lawrence Hill Book Signing....AMAZING!!!

LAWRENCE HILL is a Washington D.C. native-raised Canadian that; best selling journalist gone author! An amazing man with an amazing story. I had the privlege to attend a book signing he did just a few minutes ago for his new book The Book of Negros/Someone Knows My Name. A non-fiction story about a woman from West Africa making a life for herself. The story is written by Hill through her eyes, a very difficult thing to do but he definitely nailed it.

After reading a bit of his book out to a room of approximately 300 people everyone was without a doubt engaged and asking questions.
