As we Canadians head to the polls, the legendary Nardwuar catches up with Liberal leader Michael Ignatieff in Vancouver. Nardwuar gives Mr. Ignatieff some history about his grandfather which surprised everyone in the room. Nardwuar also gets Michael Ignatieff to do the Canadian Hip-Flip Game, which every politician (except Steven Harper) has done.

Obsessive Compuslsive Cosmetics was founded 3 years ago by David Klasfeld who conducts seminars for make-up departments and television shows. He later teamed up with New York MakeUp artist Katie Pelligrino to create lip tar! The lipstick-lipgloss hybrid caught my attention in the Spring Issue of Zink Magazine. It comes in a tube, as lip gloss does, and is glided on. When applied, the lip tar takes the form of a satin lipstick. Although it was developped with the intention to be mixed with other lip products, the colour of the lip tars are intense enough to be worn as is. OCC does emphasize that it should be used in small doses to prevent leaking! OR, I suggest you find a good lip pencil to outline it. The lip tar comes in over 25 colours and is sold for $13/8ML.

Keyshia Cole has released her newest video for her latest single, "Take Me Away" from her album Calling All Hearts. She's beautiful and her voice is amazing. Looks like Keyshia is slowing making her way back onto the charts. I look forward to hearing her album and what it has to offer. Take a peek at the video below. Let us know what you think.

Over the weekend, one of the biggest musical festivals Coachella took place! The festival had some of the biggest artists from every genre like Kings Of Leon, Erykah Badu, Duck Sauce and Kanye West. Unfortunately I did not make it to California this year but through the power of the 21st century technology, I was able to catch some of the acts live from YouTube thanks to 5 Gum. Some of the acts I managed to catch were, Mumford & Sons (first time watching... really awesome), Erykah Badu (she killed it but she really wanted to sing longer), Empire Of The Sun (I have always wanted to see them live!) and Wiz Khalifa did a really good job pumping up the crowd. I did want to watch more but I couldn't stop watching NBA playoffs! Maybe next year the Follow The L team will be in sunny Cali covering Coachella! Leave a comment and tell us what bands you managed to see!

A friend of mine put me on Line Knitwear a few months ago and I have been obsessing ever since. Line Knitwear was created in 2000 by long time friends, John Muscat and Jennifer Wells, out of North York. As the name suggests it is a line comprised of knit pieces and very original pieces at that. If you want to see some innovate knit designs I suggest you check out their F/W 2011 Collection in the clip and photos below.

Sports Illustrated cover girl Irina Shayk is the latest celebrity to pose nude for the “Protect the Skin You’re In” campaign for Marc Jacobs. The supermodel, and girlfriend of soccer stud Christiano Ronaldo, joins a collection of celebrity hotties including: Victoria Beckham, Naomi Campbell, and Marissa Kerr for this skin cancer awareness campaign. The campaign, featuring more than a dozen naked celebrities, has already raised over a million dollars for the NYU School of Medicine's Interdisciplinary Melanoma Cooperative Group.

“I was very honored to be a part of Protect the Skin You’re In campaign, working with photographer Brian Bowen Smith, and joining a long line of iconic figures featured in the past," the Russian beauty said in a statement. "The proceeds from sales of the shirts goes to funding research at NYU School of Medicine’s IMCG Group, and has been crucial in the ongoing fight against cancer. What Marc Jacobs and NYU have done is truly amazing, and I was happy to have the opportunity to join them in raising awareness – even if it meant baring all.”

I personally love this collection. In fact, my friend and I were recently talking about buying ourselves a t-shirt. They're not only extremely fashionable and trendy, but they aid in the fight against skin cancer: fashion with a cause. As summer approaches, it’s important to remember to protect your skin. I'm saying this, however, as I stare out my window looking at fresh snow. Seriously, just kill me now. Whatever happened to global warming??? Nonetheless, as I sit in my igloo, I remind you to wear sunscreen (or a parka, for now). When the warm weather finally arrives, have fun, be safe and of course, do it all in style!

TYRESE GIBSON - who knew that hot boy Tyrese Gibson was more than just a pretty face (body & everything else he was blessed with) and decided to write a book. Yes, you read right, model actor singer Tyrese "baby boy" Gibson has just released his self help book How To Get Out of Your Own Way on April 7th.

I'm not too sure about you but this definitely came out of left field and was completely unexpected. When asked what the intent of the book was for Tyrese stated...

"It’s not about talking down to people, it’s about elevating them"
Never the less, much success to Tyrese book sales - sorry but I for once will not be taking advice from Tyrese - I rather read something from someone who was able to keep themselves a little more relevant.
