It was just a matter of time that Sony was gonna announce a tablet and today they did just that. Sony is developing two tablets calling them by their codenames 'S1' and 'S2' for now. The tablets will be running on the brand new Android 3.0 platform. Right off the bat, you can easily see that the designs of both tablets look completely different.
The S1 has a large 9.4 inch touch screen which will be light and have a comfortable grip, great for rich media entertainment. With the S1, users will also be able to use the tablet as a remote control for your television (Bravia has been announced).

On the other hand, the S2 tablet has two 5.5 inch touch screens and can folded. You can use both screens to browse the web but also have the option to use the top to check you mail or play a game and use a full keyboard or controller on the bottom. The S2 will be a great mobile communication and entertainment tablet.
Both tablets will also have the Sony Qriocity platform which will let users download music, movies and the Reader Store to download ebooks. And just like the Xperia PLAY having the PlayStation Store, you can count on both tablets being able to download and handle PlayStation games.
Sony has not released more specs on the tablets just yet but they will definitely have the Wifi and 3G/4G option when released. Keep checking Follow The L for more information on the Sony Tablets
