HEARTBROKEN after watching Serius Jones' movie Life is Serius - the first few minutes of this short film seems to be too common of a story amongst African American/Canadian men. Good kid gone bad!

Brought up in a nice home in a tight nit family - award winning student - hoop dream college student -  "street pharmacist" - gone rapper. Now how many young men do you know fit that description?

TOO F*k'n MUCH....continue for more RANTING..

As much as it's cool to have a story of your life this video just seems like one big excuse. Not to rain on Serius Jones' parade (as cute as his dimples are) but there ARE men who have walked in his shoes that have still over come all the nonsense and grown into successful men - without having to go down that path.

These hoop/drug/rap dreams aren't for everyone but by producing stuff like this and dismissing the amount of work you put into mastering what you do is deceiving to many other young boys. It's not effortless and being the role models (whether you like it or not) you have a responsibility to uphold and set a proper example.

Rather than overlooking the sleepless nights and dedication why not over look the "block life"!

Anyways enough of me rambling on...watch the video for yourself.
